Many voluntary arts groups run without the need for additional funding, generating money through members’ fees, public performance, exhibitions or specific fundraising events – such as socials, car boot sales and coffee mornings. As a community organisation you may well have links into local businesses who could offer sponsorship or pay for advertisements.
Specific projects may need additional resources and there are various places you can turn to for advice, Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) y provide advice and guidance on funding issues and can assist organisations to search for sources of funding and provide guidance with writing quality funding applications.
