Celebrate North Yorkshire celebrates the enthusiastic and diverse amateur arts activity across York and North Yorkshire.
It is a site for and about the voluntary and amateur arts sector. The site links the many different arts groups and arts activists across
the region, promotes them and raises the profile of this important sector.
This is where you can find what amateur art groups operate, and where – either use the directory or the map. It is also possible to find out where performances, shows or exhibitions are happening by using the What’s On section. News of this interesting and diverse range of activity will be highlighted in the news section. Members are able to upload information to promote their work. Celebrate North Yorkshire supports voluntary arts groups in a number of ways, offering training and other events, |
provides information and advice on areas of interest including funding, marketing and PR
and legislation. It also signposts you to other places offering support - whether it’s umbrella organisations offering specialist support
or the generic support of a Local Infrastructure Organisation [LIO].
Recognising that there is a wealth of experience amongst the many people who are involved in the arts in their spare time we have put together some case studies which we hope will be of interest and use to others. By signing up to become a member you can log in which allows you to enter and update details about your group, list resources that you are looking for or resources that you are willing to share, hire or sell. And of course it enables you to network and link up with other groups across the region. |
